No separate funds have been allocated for Mission Indradhanush. The funds provided for routine immunization activities are also utilized for Mission Indradhanush.

Mission Indradhanush provides vaccination against all diseases for which vaccines are given in Universal Immunization Program (UIP) to children and pregnant women. These are Diphtheria, Pertussis, Tetanus, Poliomyelitis, Tuberculosis, Measles, Hepatitis B, Meningitis and Pneumonia due to Haemophilus influenzae type B. In addition, Japanese encephalitis (JE) vaccination is also done in districts which are endemic for JE and where Mission Indradhanush has been carried out. The Mission Indradhanush programme is being strictly implemented by the States and UTs. Till now, 497 districts across 35 State/UTs have been covered under Mission Indradhanush.
The media campaign for Mission Indradhanush was launched on 23rd March, 2015 where media creatives were released. These include short movie, posters and banners in English and Hindi in Mission Indradhanush  districts to create awareness about Mission Indradhanush.
